How to make Holograms on your phone using things you have at home

Hologram technology is something we all probably thought was well out of the reach of the general public.

You’d think you need all kinds of expensive equipment and people who can program and engineer it to be as amazing as when they beamed a hologram of 2Pac onto the stage at Coachella a few years back.

To create something like these holograms, you’d think you’re going to need more than some graph paper, a CD case, some tape, a pen, some scissors, your iPhone and a knife/glass cutter. Also, this is the most pretentious five minutes of ‘showing off’ about hologram technology you might ever watch…

But not anymore. Because using a bit of Blue Peter-style arts and crafts skill, Youtuber Mrwhosetheboss has found a way of creating holograms using just the household items above and your iPhone.

Pretty impressive stuff. Give it a go and see if it works. It’s Sunday, don’t pretend like you’re doing anything more important than nursing your hangover today anyway…
