Meet Budi, the rescued baby orangutan

This baby orangutan was caged in a chicken cage during almost a year, neglected, badly treated, fed with just condensed milk, which was slowly killing him.

Rescued by the International Animal Rescue in Indonésia, Budi started to take the first steps, started to climb, gaining the necessary muscular strength to do so.

One month after the rescue, Budi meets another orangutan for the first time, a debut for both Budi and Jemmi.

It will take years for this orangutan to be released in the nature, if it will ever be, but it is worth mentioning the remarkable job that the IAR is doing with him.
