A new music in Paris

Not all is bad in the city of lights. In the aftermath of the Paris shootings, it is nice to know that life goes on and the French capital saw the opening of the new Phillarmonic House, a world unique place.

60000 square meters, 5000 tons of steel, 4500 tons of metal, able to host 2400 to 3500 people and with the cost of around 386 million euros, the new Paris Phillarmonic House opened its doors this week in La Villette.

When you see it from the outside, you can’t help yourself from comparing with Oporto’s Music House, with a similar architectural pattern and, like the Portuguese one, took way longer then scheduled and went way over the budget first agreed.
